Hanbury Manor Meeting on 7 September 2023 - Results



We had 11 members and one guest attending the event playing for the Maiden Trophy (lowest gross score minus age), Tigers (Stableford for handicaps less than 14  on the day) and Rabbits (Stableford for handicaps 14 or more on the day). The winners were as follows:

Nearest the pin : Steve Shew
Longest Drive:    David Nurser
Maiden Trophy:  Steve Shew
Rabbits Trophy:  Peter Hewitt
Tigers Trophy:    Steve Shew


The winner of the Golfer of the Year was also settled and announced on the day. This reflects the best performance of a member over the season (it was decided not to include the overnighter as a qualifying completion for this purpose due to it being restricted in terms of numbers).  First and second place was very close and had to be settled on the GoY equivalent of countback. The results were as follows:

First:       Tim Croft
Second: Nick Rivers
Third:      Peter Hewitt
